Nelson Metzenbaum Dissecting Scissors are most commonly used for dissecting and cutting tissue. These scissors are not recommended for cutting sutures, drains, or heavy tissue. Nelson Metzenbaum scissors tend to be longer than standard Metzenbaum scissors and are ideal for use in thoracic procedures. This product has curved, smooth, blunt tips, and an overall length of 230 mm – 305 mm.
